Battling Giovanni, Cyrus, Maxie, Archie, Ghetsis, and Lysandre again is something that most Pokémon fans did not expect to ever happen – it’s great to have them all back. Team Rainbow Rocket is a real blast from the past for long-time Pokémon fans, while new fans will get to know the villains that players have loved to hate for twenty years. You can face off against the whole lot again! Team Rainbow Rocket brings back all the bad guys from six generations of Pokémon games and unites them under the Team Rocket banner. Which members of the squad you face off against will depend on which version of the game you’re playing, but by meeting them you’ll learn about their purpose and mission! Team Rainbow Rocket You’ll also get to meet the Ultra Recon Squad, a pair of trainers that has travelled through one of these wormholes. The only exceptions are the Pokémon that could not be caught in the wild in previous games, like Mew and Celebi. Even more exciting than that, though, is that every single Legendary from previous games – from Red and Blue through to X and Y – can be found through the Ultra Wormholes! This means you can make a team with one Legendary from each previous generation of Pokémon, if you can find and catch them. Speaking of Ultra Beasts, there will be new ones to discover and collect, including UB Assembly, UB Burst, and UB Adhesive. You can explore the Ultra Megalopolis, a world that Legendary Pokémon Necrozma has tainted with darkness, and leap through wormholes to discover the Ultra Beasts that live on the other side. The Ultra Wormhole that players travelled through in the original Sun and Moon was just the tip of the iceberg – Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon delve deeper into the mysterious worlds on the other side of these holes. Meanwhile, trainers in Europe will have from Oct. 7 Mythical Pokémon for Pokémon Sun and Moon trainers. will distribute codes to download the Gen. 9-23, select GameStop locations in the U.S. Once again, Marshadow will be available like many of the past event Pokémon. The Pokémon Company has announced how and when trainers can get their hands on the mysterious Marshadow into their Pokémon Sun and Moon games.
